“My Father” – Prayer of Abandonment (Charles de Foucauld)
“My Father” – Prayer of Abandonment (Charles de Foucauld)
My Father, I abandon myself to You. Do with me what You will. Whatever You may do with me, I thank You. I am ready for all, I accept all, if only Your will be fulfilled in me and in all Your creatures; I desire nothing more, my God. Into Your hands I commend my soul. I give it to You, my God, with all the love of my heart, because I love You, and because this love compels me to give myself to You, to place myself in Your hands without measure, with boundless confidence, for You are my Father.
